Yeah I’m finally on Vista! Wasn’t that painless to be honest.
The next litmus is games tho. I have an X-Fi and apparently it has big issues with EAX and Direct3D. But I wanna see DX10 on my GX260!

Is GX260 better or HD 4870?
I believe the 4870 is faster, but it is also notoriously noisy compared to the newer Nvidia cards. If u intend to get the 260, get the GX260+ version.
