Tao’s Modern Pacific Cuisine

Today I ate at the same place for lunch and dinner. It’s Tao’s Modern Pacific Cuisine down at B1 of Paradiz Centre. Really nice food with even better service.

Lunch is a 6 course lunch, where 4 courses allow a choice between several options. For example for the main you have a choice of steak, chicken, 2 fish, a stingray and pork ribs. I highly recommend the steak. For beverage there are like 9 choices including 5 floral teas. I highly recommend the grassjelly mint tea.

I ate it for lunch and liked it so much I made a reservation for dinner for 5. The staff was nice enuff to extend a 10% discount for lunch AND dinner. Kudos!

And both trips I enjoyed the food and service. Well done Tao’s!

And then it’s onto this week’s top priority mission: to buy or not to buy a Zepto laptop during Sitex 2008.

hey, i was hooked on Tao’s previously! i brought different ppl there for dinner, mainly my elders coz it seemed to be a hit with older folks! i love their fruit teas! when you gotta the time, try out its afflilate Dozo at river valley (i think) , it’s also darn nice and excellent service (though i hear the servers repeating the same jokes at different tables)! Dozo is good for anniversaries and they will throw in cakes and presents if you make reservations for birthdays and so forth. try it! i will be bringing another pair of friends to Tao’s soon for their birthdays, it’s also because i am personally hooked on the gratin, the lamb chop and the teas! i love their pork floss mango roll…*slurps*

one of the supervisor is gregory, the guy who starred in their ads, he is darn funny and he gave my mom a teapot as birthday present! he met us at the door when he was returning from the loo, asked me about the birthday , took out a box from somewhere near the door and he sent us till a little distance away from the restuarant before bowing and thanking us.i almost thought he would be following us up the escalator! their service is very personable. i am a dozo-tao fan, as you can tell by now :)
