Exam time!

It’s really late but anyway… just got back from the Fireworks @ Marina Bay, will post pics and vids tomorrow. But I wanna relate what I saw at Changi Airport this evening.

So I went there to pick up my parents who were returning from a trip to UK, so we went there early after a trip to AMK Hub. Since we were there early, we decided to go T2 to find a place to sit and drink tea. But every eatery we went, was staked out by students studying lol… I understand the O Levels were early this year. Literally every eatery from McD’s to BK to Coffee Bean to Starbucks. In fact we could only find one place devoid of seated people: the Polar cafe outlet lol what does that say?

Then after we got seated we witnessed another interesting sight. There was a spill on the airport floor nearby. A cleaner pushing one of those cleaning battlewagons came along and placed two large yellow Wet Floor signs on the ground, one on each end of the puddle.

Here’s the weird bit. He proceeded to unroll two full toilet rolls onto the puddle… huh?? In the end there was a mountain of toilet roll on the floor. He then used a large pair of tongs to pick up the huge wad of soggy paper… and here comes the 2nd weird bit. The second he pushes all the toilet roll into a big bundle and picks the wad off the floor, the second he does that, a lady walks between the 2 large yellow Wet Floor signs, like scoring a goal. The entire airport floor is so freaking big and there’s one wet puddle on the floor with 2 large yellow signs warning you to keep away and you HAD to walk into it?

Amazing.
